Position Overview:
To be an effective, professional front desk supervisor and assist in the delivery of adult and pediatric healthcare services. Under the general supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, this position will encompass a range of scheduling, collection of patient fees, and general office support activities. Essential Job Functions:
- Functions as the Front Desk Supervisor and provides good customer service to the patients of ONE Health Systems, Inc. Leading the team by example.
- Oversight the training of front desk staff on the practice management system and EHR side as needed.
- Communicates office issues to the direct supervisor.
- Maintains the computerized appointment calendars for the staff physicians and dentists. Making schedule blocks as requested timely and ensuring that all patients are moved appropriately.
- Ability to travel between sites.
- Flexibility to be cross-trained in different areas.
- Responsible for complete training and documentation of all new Front desk receptionists.
- Responsible for completing 90 day, and annual employee evaluations.
- Ensures that all sites are adequately covered
- Provide coaching and mentoring in real-time when problems arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Actively engages in Center activities, attends meetings, and promotes Center Goals and Objectives.
- Attends all assigned site meetings.
- Attends all assigned organizational meetings.
- Engages in continuous learning by seeking out new information to improve upon existing knowledge base in regards to role in a community health center environment.
- Remains current on information and technology needed to sustain position.
- Physical presence in designated office is required.
- Travel to other locations may be required. Mileage is reimbursed per policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Computer skills required along with knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Experience with multi-line telephone and paging system.
- Must be organized with special attention to detail.
- Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
- Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and promote exceptional service to our patients, families, physicians, fellow employees, and volunteers by displaying attitudes and behaviors that reflect compassion, respect, and dignity to everyone we serve.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Supervisor preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, carry, lift, bend, twist, reach, sit, stand for lengthy periods of time; ability to walk for extended periods of time.
