Objective
Properly supervise and maintain efficient staffing of warehouse personnel throughout the shift. Ensure proper loading of out bound loads.
Responsibilities/Expectations

- Leads and manage your direct reports within area of responsibility.

Make sure that all employees are always abiding by all safety rules and regulations.

Always face the direction of travel.
- Slow down and sound horn at all intersections and blind corners.

Always stay at a safe distance, minimum 3 pallet spaces away, when a pallet is being lowered.

Fill out your inspection form and perform a thorough pre-trip inspection on pallet jack/forklift.

Oversee and manage the day to day operations of the warehouse second shift.

Inspect and verify for accuracy all orders that are picked and staged. Prepare a daily recap of picked orders and errors by man and forward to operations manager weekly.
- Ensure that the loading and pick areas maintain a neat and orderly appearance and that area safety is maintained throughout the shift.

Verify throughout the shift that damaged products are removed from the picking area. Provide immediate direction when unwanted behavior is noticed.

Inspect loaded pallets or carts for stability. Ensure pallets or carts are safely wrapped for transport.

Assist Team Leader or Loader when necessary on building loads for delivery trucks if falling behind schedule.

Ensure, by checking code dates, that the oldest product is selected for order fulfillment.

Conduct daily meetings with team leads to review previous day and solicit dialogue with pickers and pullers to search for efficiencies.

Mange direct replenishment and verify that product brought down from overhead storage is done in a proactive manner. Ensure that plastic wrap is properly removed.

Monitor the warehouse activities to ensure that the responsibilities assigned by the warehouse manager are being completed accurately and timely.
- If directed by the warehouse managers, be prepared to assume the role of loader.

Review the manpower needs with the 3rd shift supervisor; adjust manpower as needed to certify that all trucks will be loaded on time.

Participate in safety inspections, conduct safety meetings, and complete accident investigations in a timely manner.

The ability to use Smart Phones, iPad, computes, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties.

Ability to lift 25- 30 lbs. packaged beer and 160 lbs. kegs

Frequent reaching, standing, lifting, and walking

Able to pass drug and background check
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
-
Will consider experience in the field +Education

Warehouse Operations experience
-
Minimum 5 years in the operations or beverage industry
