Reports To: Chief of Staff
Qualifications:
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in related/similar role. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience leading a variety of highly complex and cross-functional projects, specifically with systems/tech innovation & construction components.
- Experience tailoring project updates, status reports, and strategic insights to meet the specific needs and preferences of Executive leadership.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems, making informed and timely decisions requiring negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated proficiencies and experience in implementing project management tools, software and organizational best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities at all levels.
- Highly organized with strong time management and extreme attention to details.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Salary: $100k - $115,000 annually
Location: New York City.

Overview:
Crunch is in search of a dynamic leader to assume the role of Strategic Project Manager responsible to support critical innovation projects and organizational project success. As Strategic Project Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for project managing specific strategic initiatives for all phases of the project life cycle, while simultaneously supporting other high-impact projects and establishing an organizational project management center of excellence.

- Represent Crunch with integrity to varying stakeholders, including internal teams, franchisees & club-level teams, and strategic external partners.
- Assist as supporting role of portfolio-wide project management.
- Promote organizational project management best practices.
- Refine standard project management templates for the organization (project plan, project charter, Gantt charts, etc.)
- Understand and respond to project management opportunities.
- Plan and prioritize assigned tasks and successfully manage competing priorities.
- Independently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities for self and teams.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality noting highly sensitive information within projects.
- Distill complex project information into concise and actionable deliverables for C-Suite decision-making.
- Be an innovative thinker when tackling new territory and resolving roadblocks.
- Be flexible when required, responding to change and learning opportunities.

Specific duties of the role include:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, considering timelines, resource requirements, budgets and milestones.
- Program manages all scoped projects and initiatives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in adherence to organizational best practices.
- Ensures proper cross-functional representation during all phases
- Support other high-priority projects, where necessary.
- Software Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of project management software, optimizing its usage for efficient project delivery.
- Provide training and support to team members on the effective utilization of project management tools.
- Innovation Projects:
- Oversee projects in the construction and technology innovation sectors, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into project management processes.
- Travel to support gym-level program preparation, launches & monitoring, where necessary.
- Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders, including internal teams, franchisees & club-level teams, and strategic external partners.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Manage accountability where necessary.
- Facilitate communication channels to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives. This includes holding weekly meetings to ensure continuous progress against deadlines for all scoped projects and providing monthly status update summaries for varying audiences (Board, Executive, project team, external stakeholders).
- Develop and deliver high-quality, executive-level reports and presentations for C-Suite stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects, considering construction, technology & operations-related challenges. Immediately address obstacles and issues.
- Implement proactive measures to address issues and maintain project momentum.
