Position Summary: Implementing and coordinating a spiritual care/bereavement plan for hospice patients and their family. Offering spiritual understanding, support and counseling by non-denominational minister, chaplain, clergy or other spiritual leader so that patients may find the comfort, meaning and hope they seek; can assist with specific religious needs and memorial services.
Required: Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry. Previous experience in working with patients and families who are dealing with a life-threatening illness and death is preferred. Involves driving; requires a valid California Driver license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
