Parts and Service Manager
The Parts and Service Manager at ARCH plays a vital role within the company. This person needs to have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be able to problem solve and create processes to improve the department. The position requires daily interaction with vendors, clients, and staff. This person will report directly to the VP of Operations.
Main Responsibilities:
· Develop and nurture vendor relationships
· Manage all aspects of vendor related problems and provide solutions
· Manage and assign tasks to the part department staff
· Quoting and purchasing of parts, raw materials, and tooling
· Receiving, billing, payment scheduling using QuickBooks
· Work with engineering to approve technical drawings for manufacturing
· Inventory management
· Planning of part allocation for new builds and service
· Service writing, scheduling and client communication
· Collaborate with operations to plan manufacturing needs
· Annual Owners Event support
· Scheduling and managing outsourced services (Paint, post finish, etc.)
· Work with the design department on paint and post finish selections and samples
· Establish processes to improve department efficiency
Required Qualifications:
· Deep understanding of different post finish processes
· Have a good eye to inspect paint and processed parts for flaws
· Ability to do light assembly and touch ups as needed
Education and Experience:
· High School degree or equivalent
· Prior experience working in a parts department
· Mechanically incline
· QuickBooks experience is a plus
· Computer literate
· Good attitude and work ethic
