Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic Assistant
Seeking experienced diesel mechanic or mechanic assistant (additional on-the-job training will be provided) for both on and off highway construction vehicles.
Will train the right candidate. Pay based on experience.
Diesel Mechanic Requirements
- Knowledge of truck diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance but not limited to diesel engine, transmission, air brake, suspension, hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Knowledgeable in computer aided truck diagnostics.
- Ability to work as a team to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
- Specific prior in-industry experience is not required but is a plus; we will provide training for the specific platforms.
- The ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activity in all weather conditions.
Diesel Mechanic Team Responsibilities
- Repair all equipment; primarily on-site
- Keep a neat, safe and clean work area.
- Follow all safety standards as per company polices and MSHA/OSHA regulations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
