Mastip Inc of Jackson, WI is looking for a Service Assembly Technician to be a key part of a growing team. Your role is to provide high quality assembly work and support to the Service Team and our customers.

Then you may want to join Mastip Hot Runner systems as an assembly technician. An understanding of plastic injection processing or injection molds is a plus, but not required.
As a member of Mastip Inc, you will be a key team member of our growing Wisconsin team by assembling hot runner systems for North American customers.
Daily Duties Will Include:
- Providing support to the Service Team with their daily duties.
- Assembling hot runner systems for our customer.
- Assisting with delivery of high-quality hot runner systems.
- Work closely with our service manager and sale department to ensure the customer receives the quoted system. On time and within budget.
The Assembly person is mainly responsible for assembly for the Service Department with the passion and drive to progress into a service technician.
40 hours per week as per rostered shift, and additional over time hours as required to fulfil the requirement of the role
Position Responsibilities / KPI’s
- Checking received parts against Bill of Materials
- Checking measurements of machined components
- Assembling, wiring, testing, and documenting Hot Runner Systems
- Preparing systems for shipment
- Daily support for Service Team
- Champion for continuous improvement
Knowledge and Skills Needed
- Technical aptitude in Plastic Injection or/and mold making and strong understanding of plastic mold design.
- Computer literacy; intermediate or advanced level proficiency in Windows software, spreadsheets, Outlook and other Microsoft office applications
- Exposure to, or working knowledge of, 2D/3D CAD/CAM software.
- Must mechanically inclined with a detail mind set, and a “get it right the first time” mentality
Qualifications /Experience
2+ years of experience in Mold Making or Plastic Injection Industry would be preferable with a good understanding and knowledge in the injection molding fields such as processing, mold making, materials and part design.
