Marathon law office is seeking an administrative assistant to assist with discovery documents, including preparation of financial affidavits, compliance with discovery requests, compiling and organizing financial documents.
Prior experience is not necessary. Training will be provided. Must be a team-player, organized, self-motivated, and have clear communication skills.
Hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
The position is extremely detailed oriented. Deadlines and timelines are important. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and organizing discovery documents for two family law attorneys
- Scanning and saving documents
- Calendaring discovery requests and timelines
- Preparing discovery requests and other light paralegal duties
- Drafting standard letters and correspondence to clients
- Assisting the firms two paralegals with other administrative tasks when needed

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
