Install Support for Interior Design Firm:
Merge Home is seeking a meticulous and design-savvy Install and Operations Associate with a strong emphasis on installation proficiency. This pivotal role centers on ensuring accurate and professional installation of artworks, window treatments, dimensional wall hangings, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach to assisting the team in furniture and accessory merchandising.
This position includes being able to travel with our design team to assist in the installation and staging of our out of state projects. All-expense-paid air travel as well as a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Entry-level trades experience [REQUIRED] and an interest or background in interior design [PREFFERED]. This job does not require operating a forklift, however, it does include some warehouse work with pallet jack and furniture dolly. Candidate must have the ability to enter data into Point of Sale system and communicate inventory issues with vendors as well and store team members.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Installation and Travel [PRIMARY]: Travel to project sites to assist with installations. Communicate and manage receivers, and organize deliveries for project installs, maintaining a detail-oriented approach.
- Artwork and Window Treatment Installation: Ensure precise and professional installation of artworks and window treatments, emphasizing attention to detail.
- Store Presentation: Assist in staging and merchandising our three-level store, including art installations and some furniture assembly, with a keen eye for detail. Must be able to lift MINIMUM 50lbs.
- Logistics and Coordination: Manage customer deliveries and pickups, oversee warehouse operations, and maintain inventory control. Ensure the upkeep of building and grounds.
- Utility and Service Bill Management: Take charge of managing utility and other service bills.
- Shipping Oversight: Oversee the shipping processes, ensuring efficient handling of goods and timely deliveries to customers and project sites with meticulous attention to logistics details.
- Inventory and POS Management: Maintain accuracy and upkeep of the POS system, ensuring all showroom items are properly tagged and inventoried with precision.
Qualification:
- Strong emphasis on installation skills, particularly in artwork and window treatments.
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
- Entry-level trades experience.
- Interest or background in interior design are preferred.
- Must be available to work on occasional and select Saturdays 12-6PM
