Puzzle Piece, LLC is looking for a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in our center-based program for children ages 2-5. Our program is based on today’s ABA, in which we honor and promote assent based learning, focus on natural environment teaching, and incorporate ABA into a preschool style classroom setting. We have a strong focus on building preschool life skills, language and learning, group skills, and social and friendship skills. Our program is heavily based on a developmental ABA model, with children and families first.
Responsibilities
· Conduct evaluations using skills assessments and functional behavior assessments.
· Develop treatment plans and behavior intervention plans for children
· Manage treatment targets in Catalyst and train RBTs to implement treatment
· Assist with training new hires
· Build strong rapport with families and provide parent meetings and trainings weekly or biweekly
· Provide supervision to RBTs and to graduate students in school to become BCBAs
· Build strong, collaborative relationships with speech, occupational therapy, and encourange and support an interdisciplinary treatment
· In partnership with ABA director and RBTs, develop classroom wide programming and group therapy activities, and new trainings for RBTs.
· Promote a positive work culture and model teamwork and collaborative approach.
Requirements
· Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing, having completed master’s degree and passed the exam.
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Alabama
· Must be able to independently conduct evaluations, write treatment plans, and provide staff trainings and parent meetings
· Must have completed an 8 hour supervision training for BCBA supervisors
· Must bring a positive attitude and promote a positive work culture
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
