Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and potty training
- Foster positive behavior management techniques
- Encourage social interaction and promote positive peer relationships
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in babysitting, childcare, or preschool setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to engage and educate children through creative activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and understanding
- Knowledge of infant care practices is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent education
