Job Summary:
We are seeking someone with skill and detail-oriented knowledge working as a Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in providing accurate and reliable results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to flow cytometry, ELISA, CT scans, and phlebotomy
- Collect and process specimens for analysis
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and precision of test results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Participate in clinical trials and research projects as needed
Essential qualifications to be considered for this
- Certification in Medical Technology
or
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
