Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the dental office
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks. Proficient with Apple computers and MacPractice dental software helpful.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
