Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for building job material lists, loading/unloading and transporting materials to various locations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to operate different types of vehicles, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Read and understand basic BOL’s and their format.
- Assist in building job material lists, palletizing, shrink wrapping, banding, staging, tagging.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift inside a warehouse environment and rough terrain.
- Perform daily forklift check.
- Understand how to read basic measurements and weights.
- Can safely load/unload company and vendor trucks with product.
- Receive all items coming in from suppliers and verify accuracy and quality of items prior to signing the delivery receipt.
- Verify accuracy of the receipt to the PO. Verify that the documentation matches counts, part numbers, lot numbers etc.
- Assist in keeping inventory of company concrete forms/form accessories – forms coming in and going out (procedures different for each).
- Safely operate company trucks and equipment; knowledge of how to safely strap/bind equipment to trailers.
- Can safely drive, maneuver and back a truck/trailer combination with GVRW of less than 26,001 lbs. through traffic, parking lots and job sites.
- Assist in the occasional pick up and deliveries (Local & Out of State).
- Assist in cutting and fabricating rebar, as needed.
- Help with groundskeeping including mowing, weed eating, weed control, driveway maintenance, porch clean up, etc.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse area.
- Required to wear PPE (i.e. {gloves, safety googles, face masks} site specific).
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- General warehouse duties and cleanup.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
- 1 year warehouse experience
- Valid and clean driver's License
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Previous experience operating powered warehouse industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, skid-steer, telehandler, backhoe, etc.) required.
- At least 5 years’ experience driving a truck/trailer combination.
- Strong customer service skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
