As a Retail Sales Associate at Qube, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that every customer's visit is welcoming, informative, and memorable. Your responsibilities revolve around creating an exceptional experience for all customers while upholding the values and standards of Qube. This role requires a passion for cannabis, outstanding communication skills, and a dedication to providing top-notch customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Warm Welcome: Greet each person entering the dispensary with a warm, friendly greeting, setting a positive tone for their visit.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer receives an excellent experience by addressing their needs, answering questions, and providing assistance throughout their visit.
- Rapport Building: Build rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Product Education: Educate customers on Qube's philosophy, strains, products, delivery methods, potency, proper storage, serving size, and tolerance levels. Utilize product up-sell lists effectively.
- Resource Guidance: Guide customers to appropriate resources, including the website and internet menus, to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Daily Checklists: Complete daily checklists, maintaining facility appearance and cleanliness, and performing store opening and closing duties to ensure smooth operations.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with all Qube procedures when completing sales transactions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product price points and all aspects of cannabis operations, including legal, regulatory, technological, and research developments, to provide accurate information to customers.
- End-of-Day Reporting: Conduct end-of-day counts and report any items needing replenishment to Qube Management, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
- Sense of Urgency: Maintain an overall sense of urgency in addressing customer needs and maintaining store operations efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college-level coursework in business administration preferred.
- Demonstrated work experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience using point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work proactively with customers of varying personalities.
- Organized, flexible, and team-oriented, with a dedication to raising the bar for the whole team and attention to detail.
- Ability to cultivate long-term customer relationships creatively and resolve issues professionally.
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for cannabis and the cannabis industry.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Google Docs.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least eight (8) hours.
- Capability to bend at the waist, kneel, and crouch to access products.
- Strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 to 200 pounds.
- Visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print.
- Manual dexterity required for data entry.
- Consistent moderate background noise level.
