Job Responsibilities Include:
- Being the initial face of the practice (initial point of contact)
- Scheduling initial patient appointments
- Verifying Insurance benefits
- Obtaining Prior Authorizations for procedures and treatment
- Ability to work and coordinate with patients, staff and physicians
- Ability to read through physicians dictation
- Must have experience working with insurance companies and knowledge of different types of policies and coverage for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans
- Scheduling patient appointments and procedures using eClinical Works software (ECW)
- Meeting and greeting patients upon their arrival and providing them with necessary paperwork and documentation
- Coordinating a patient’s initial visit and any follow ups
- Calling the patient to remind them of their procedure/visit
- Organizing and assisting with consultations, appointments, and follow-up visits
- On a daily basis, handling phone calls and emails in a professional manner

Qualifications:
*Bilingual Preferred - SPANISH/ENGLISH
- The right individual should be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have strong communication skills
- Should be able to multi-task and embrace responsibility and accountability
- Must have effective communication skills in English
- Must be friendly and care –oriented
- Project management skills may be necessary to perform certain job functions such as scheduling
- Efficient in data entry with no errors
- Outgoing, personable, and able to keep a smiling face
