Reports to: TreasurerStart Date: June 1, 2024 (or sooner)Classified, Full Time, 260 day contract, 7 hours per dayESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The below list is not ranked in order of importance.)Prepares the semi-monthly payrollPrepares quarterly payroll reportsPrepares Form W2s annuallyPrepares payment of the monthly insurance invoicesProcesses workers compensation claims and unemployment claimsMaintains PERRP record keeping spreadsheetManages insurance elections for new hires and terminationManages the annual insurance open enrollmentOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Dress in a professional mannerType various reports and letters for the TreasurerParticipate in MVESC staff activities including in service programs and planned staff eventsPerform all other duties as required or requested by the Treasurer/CFOSKILLS IN: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEfficient and effective time-management skillsOrganization and planningABILITY TO: Work independentlyManage multiple responsibilities by establishing priorities and negotiating timelinesAccept additional responsibilities with willingness and enthusiasm
