Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Please note that this job position entails in-person office requirements 5 weekdays per week along with weekends and nights dependent on the Client’s needs.
- Developing and Executing Sales Strategies:
- Create and implement strategic sales plans that align with the venue's objectives to maximize revenue.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop tactics to capture a larger share of the market.
- Set sales targets and goals for the sales team and ensure they are achieved.
- Driving Revenue:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and third-party vendors.
- Marketing and Brand Management:
- Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the venue's services, amenities, and special offerings.
- Manage advertising campaigns across various channels including digital, print, and social media.
- Maintain brand integrity and ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing efforts.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and corporate clients.
- Oversee the handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Budgeting and Reporting:
- Prepare annual sales and marketing budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and guest satisfaction scores.
- Generate regular reports for senior management detailing sales achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and sales experience - A CLOSER.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth.
- Possesses five plus years of experience in business development or sales.
- Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibits proficiency in computer skills, including hardware management, CRM, admin, and software familiarity (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excels in meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining accuracy and conscientiousness in all endeavors.
- References are a must.
Compensation / Benefits:
- $80,000 to $200,000+ (Salary / Total Compensation Range)
- Sales Commission
- Equity ownership with vesting
- Annual performance bonus based on Sales and / or Cost Management
