We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Supervisor to join our team and oversee the training and development of our valet department staff at Emory Hospital, a renowned healthcare institution in Atlanta, Georgia.
Position Overview:
As the Training Supervisor for the patient transport department at Emory Hospital, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and safe, efficient transport services to hospital patients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, supervising, and mentoring transport team members, and continuously improving department performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
Develop, update, and maintain training programs for transport department staff to ensure compliance with hospital standards and best practices..
Training Delivery:
Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions for valet attendants, ensuring that they are well-equipped to perform their duties safely and professionally.
Provide hands-on training, including customer service, transport procedures, safety protocols, and equipment techniques.
Performance Evaluation:
Regularly assess the performance of the team members through evaluations and feedback.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Mentorship and Leadership:
Serve as a mentor and role model for valet attendants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and professionalism.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all transport department activities adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct safety drills and maintain records of safety training.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any service issues promptly and effectively.
Implement quality control measures to optimize transport services.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit reports on training activities, performance evaluations, and departmental achievements.
Maintain accurate records of training attendance and certifications.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Previous experience in valet services, customer service, or training/education.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Knowledge of parking procedures, safety regulations, and customer service best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
