Solaire Social, a newly developed Food Hall, consisting of 11 food vendors and a large multi-station bar is seeking Host/Ambassadors.
Solaire Social is Silver Spring’s highly anticipated culinary collective opening in Spring 2024. The 13,000 SF dining destination, bar, and Top Golf Suite will feature a collection of 11 artisan concepts from across the globe, curated by award-winning chef and restaurateur, Akhtar Nawab. Solaire Social lives by the motto “Eat. Drink. Be Social.” — a destination focused around community, providing a stage for chef-driven concepts to showcase a curated experience enriched by diverse food, culture and entertainment.

They connect with guests through eye contact and a smile, helping make informed suggestions on where they should dine, and helping all to-go orders be delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
● Smiling and greeting guests to ensure they feel welcome to Monar Food Hall
● Assisting guests with the food vendor options
● Saying goodbye to guests when they leave
● Engaging with guests whenever possible
● Ensuring all Delivery/Takeout orders are correct and ready to be picked up
● Constant communication with all members of the team
● Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner
● Anticipating guests needs and ensuring they have a memorable experience
● Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the
station, the tables and food hall before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked
● Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
● Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or
more
Qualifications:
- US work authorization (Required)
- Punctual, attentive to detail, friendly, willing to learn, reliable and above all, honest
- A total of 3 + years hospitality experience
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to work as part of the restaurant, crew, and management team
- Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge, cost control measures and good kitchen organization experience
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation techniques and nutrition
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary
- Willingness to uphold high standards
- Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
