Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Blossom Children's Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children with autism spectrum disorders and associated speech and language challenges. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the support and development of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities of pediatric clients utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
- Create individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients considering their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
- Provide individual therapy sessions to pediatric clients, implementing evidence-based interventions that promote communication and language skills.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team such as Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Counselors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Art Therapists.
- Regularly communicate and collaborate with parents/caregivers to discuss treatment progress, provide education and support, and address any concerns or questions.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly as they relate to autism spectrum disorders.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with parents or caregivers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- No past criminal history.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.

- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Neurodiversity affirming approach to evaluation and treatment
- Seeking clinician familiar with both analytical and gestalt language processing
