Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Steakhouse Executive Room Chef to join our team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food service management, catering, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong background in kitchen management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering events and special functions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniques
Skills:
- Proven experience in kitchen management, including menu planning, food service management, and inventory control
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bartending is a plus
